Nikhil Kumaraswamy on Friday evening took to Twitter to release the first-look motion poster of his upcoming film, Rider. The sports-drama is directed by Telugu filmmaker Vijay Kumar Konda, who had earlier directed films such as Okka Laila Kosam and Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinda. The first-look poster has attracted a lot of attention from the audience.

Sharing the poster and motion-poster link, Nikhil wrote, "Presenting #RIDER first look (sic)."

Here's the post:

Nikhil took a small break from films to concentrate on his political journey. The actor is making a comeback with Rider and is now trying to strike a balance between politics and cinema. Before the coronavirus lockdown, Nikhil had shot for Rider and the shooting had to be halted due to the pandemic.

The rider team has 32 days of shoot left and Nikhil is planning to resume in the coming days. Depending on the Covid-19 situation, the makers will decide on the shooting date.

Rider is touted to be an inspirational tale with commercial elements. In the film, Nikhil Kumaraswamy will be seen as a basketball player. Alongside Nikhil, the film has Kashmira Paradeshi as the female lead.

Rider is jointly produced by Lahari Music and T Series. The supporting cast includes Sampada, Dattanna, Achyuth Kumar, Chikkanna and Shivraj KR Pete. The film has music composed by Arjun Janya and cinematography by Shreesha Kuduvalli.
