Mahesh Babu took to Twitter to express grief over the death of his ardent fan Suresh Babu, who was also the president actor's fan club in Nellore district.

Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu mourned the death of his ardent fan Suresh Babu, who passed away on Thursday (September 10) evening. Suresh Babu, who was the president of Krishna Ghattamaneni and Mahesh Babu's Nellore district fan club, died due to cardiac arrest. Mahesh Babu's fans expressed grief and have been organising welfare activities in memory of Suresh Babu.

On Friday (September 11), Mahesh Babu took to Twitter to share a picture of himself with Suresh Babu and said that the latter will be truly missed.

Mahesh Babu wrote, "Heartbreaking to hear about Darisi Suresh Babu's untimely demise. He’ll be truly missed... Love and strength to the family during this difficult time (sic)."

The final rites of Suresh Babu was performed at his residence in Nellore in presence of Mahesh Babu's fans. Reports suggest that a bike rally was also organised by the fans as a mark of respect.

On the professional front, Mahesh Babu recently shot for a commercial at Annapurna Studios. A picture of Mahesh Babu from the sets of the shoot went viral on the internet.

The actor is currently waiting to shoot for his upcoming film, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, directed by Parasuram. The film is touted to be an action entertainer and Mahesh Babu will be playing two roles. A few days ago, there were reports that Bollywood star Anil Kapoor has been roped in to play the antagonist in the film.

An official announcement regarding the cast and crew will be made soon. The makers of Sarkaru Vaari Paata are planning to begin the shoot in December.
